2. User Responsibilities & Safety
⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
For Mirror Lights (UL 1598 / UL 153 Compliance):

Electrical installation must comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician.

Turn off power at circuit breaker before installation or cleaning.

Use only recommended bulb type and wattage.

Do not exceed maximum wattage indicated on the fixture.

Keep flammable materials away from bulbs.

For damp/wet location fixtures, ensure proper sealing.
For Light Bulbs (FTC 16 CFR 305 Compliance):

Allow bulb to cool before handling.

Do not exceed maximum wattage indicated in the fixture.

Do not use bulbs that are cracked, damaged, or show signs of overheating.

Dispose of bulbs properly — LED bulbs contain electronic components; CFL bulbs contain mercury and require special disposal.
For Installation Brackets (UL 2442 / FHSA Compliance):

Do not exceed weight capacity specified in product description.

Must be installed into wall studs or with appropriate heavy-duty anchors rated for the weight.

Use a level to ensure straight installation.

Inspect bracket for damage before installation.

Check periodically for loosening; tighten hardware as needed.

Keep away from children — small parts may pose choking hazard (16 CFR § 1500.19).

4. FTC Lighting Facts Labeling (16 CFR Part 305)
All light bulbs sold in the U.S. with medium screw bases must bear the FTC Lighting Facts label on packaging, disclosing:

The label must be set off in a box with all black or one color type, printed on a white or neutral contrasting background. Failure to include proper labeling can result in product removal from platforms like Amazon.
5. Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Efficiency Standards
General service lamps (GSLs) must meet DOE energy conservation standards, including minimum efficacy requirements. The DOE periodically reviews and updates these standards. Products that do not meet applicable standards may not be sold in the U.S.
6. California Title 20 / CEC Compliance
If sold in California, light bulbs must meet California Energy Commission (CEC) requirements, including:

Minimum efficacy of 45 lumens per watt for general service lamps

Registration in the MAEDbS database

Compliance with Title 20 Appliance Efficiency Regulations
7. General Certificate of Conformity (GCC)
For general-use products (installation brackets), we provide a General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) certifying compliance with all applicable CPSC safety rules under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA). The GCC includes product identification, citation to safety rules, manufacturer information, date/place of manufacture, and testing information.
8. California Proposition 65 Warning
Some products may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Under Proposition 65, products sold or shipped into California must provide a "clear and reasonable" warning if they contain any listed chemicals above safe harbor levels. When applicable, a Proposition 65 warning will be displayed on product pages and packaging. The required warning includes the yellow triangle symbol (⚠) and the word "WARNING" in bold capital letters. Civil penalties for non-compliance can reach up to $2,500 per violation per day.
9. Intellectual Property
All site content is our property and protected by copyright laws.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from product use or misuse (e.g., improper electrical installation, overloading brackets, misuse of bulbs, accidents).

Governed by laws of the state in which seller is based.
